Summary : Finds of Roman British pottery indicate the site of a settlement at Thornham Parva. This site is a possible alternative site for the location of Villa Faustini.
More information : TM 10107355 Romano-British sherds were found in plough-soil at Mellis. Now in Ipswich Museum. (1) Little Thornham, (Thornham Parva, TM1073), is suggested as the alternative site of Villa Faustini, (TM17SW35), by Lapie in the C19th. (2)
