Summary : A fragment of Roman tesselated floor was found in c.1832; listed as the possible site of a Roman villa though it is also suggested that this frgament came from another villa site (TM 01 SW 28).
More information : Fragment of tessellated pavement donated to Colchester Museum in 1832 by an inhabitant of East Mersea parish (TM 0514) probably come from the Roman Villa site TM 01 SW 28. (1-2)
