More information : [TL 9346 2273] Copford Hall [T.I.] (1) Copford Hall. 8/136. Grade II. Formerly a residence of the Bishops of London, but Bishop Bonner (1540-61) was the last to live here. House rebuilt in C.18 (? by Sir Robert Taylor) and altered in C.19. (2) Copford Hall - name and description confirmed. GP/AO60/56/1 : W. front. (3) No longer thought to be the work of Robert Taylor, possibly confused with Coptfold Hall, Margaretting. (4)
