DESCRIPTION

A bowl barrow at Little Trees Hill, situated within the possible cropmark Neolithic causewayed enclosure TL 45 SE 35, on the summit of a chalk knoll. The bowl barrow comprises a circular mound 25m in diameter. Slight traces of the surrounding ditch survive around the southern and eastern sides.

TL 48835293: A round barrow situated on the highest
point of Little Trees Hill at 74.0m OD. It lies in a wood near
the edge of an old quarry and measures 32.0m in diameter by
1.8m maximum height with a slightly domed top and steepish sides.
There is no trace of a ditch.
Discovered during field investigation.

Surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD.
