More information : 'SD 099853'. The site of Annaside stone circle, now destroyed. (1) In 1803 twelve stones, forming a circle c20 yards in diameter, were standing. (2) Only one stone remains. (stone published on OS 25" at SD 0991835) (3) The published 'Stone' is no more than a free-standing erratic, which appears unlikely to be the survivor of a stone circle. No other remains were noted in the vicinity. (4) Listed by Burl as a destroyed or unrecognizable circle. (5)
