MONUMENT NO. 363484

DESCRIPTION + /

The location of two Roman buildings at Rushey Farm and both excavated during 1958 and 1958. The southern building was found to be of two main phases: 2nd to 3rd century and 4th century. The northern building dated to the 4th century, with an earlier Iron Age hut also being identified and a burial ground of unknown date. Coins and painted wall plaster were also found.
