RUXOX CHAPEL OR PRIORY CELL

DESCRIPTION + /

Medieval Augustinian cell or chapel documented in 1189 and 1290. It was used as a retreat by resigned priors of Dunstable Priory, (TL02SW13). The site lies within a supposed large oval Medieval moated which based on scale and morphology may well be a later prehistoric enclosure with phases of later re-use.
