The Lord of the Manor of Stone Hall is Lord Willoughby de Broke. No
further information on history of the Hall. (2)

The earthworks (see 25") are now ploughed out. There are no remains
of the Hall. 25" survey revised. (3)

TF 326391. All that remains on the site of Stone Hall is a mound in
a field just south east of the church.
Field walking by the Boston Archaeology Group produced assorted
medieval pottery, together with five sherds of Romano-British grey
ware and some colour-coated sherds. (4)

Middle Saxon pottery mentioned. (5)
