The tower and spire date from 1717, the remainder of the fabric is Norman to Perpendicular. (2-3) In normal use. (4) A Church of St James - Grade A. 18C square tower & spire, ashlar. 13C. S. porch. Late 12C S. arcade, arcaded triforium above. 14C S. aisle. Early 13C chancel. Fine early 13C arcaded round font. Two recumbent effigies of the 13 & 14C. (5)
