Summary : Two Early Bronze Age flat axes.
More information : An E.B.A. flat bronze axe found at Digby is in private
possession. A second, found between the village and Digby Fen,
is in Lincoln Museum (1). Petch (2) refers to two flat axes,
presumably the same two mentioned above, as coming from Round
Hills Farm, Digby. One in private possession, has a decorated
blade. (1-2)

The axe in Lincoln Museum (Acc No. 25/29) is recorded as being
found in 1915 but the finder's name is indecipherable. No further
information was obtained regarding the second axe.
Round Hills Farm, now called Mittens Farm, is at TF 097 555. (3)
