Summary : 12th-15th century, 17th-18th century, foundations renewed 1889, restored 1907, 1926. Limestone ashlar, some coursed limestone rubble, lead roofs. West tower and spire, clerestoried nave, chancel, north and south aisles and south porch. 14th century churchyard cross.
More information : [TF 06003515] St. Nicholas's Church [TU] (1) St. Nicholas' Church, Walcot, is late Norman or Transitional to late Decorated. (2-3) In normal use. A free standing cross is at TF 0601835144 Surmounted by a sundial. See G.P. AL/65/106/1. (4) The shaft, which is undecorated, is an ovoid octagon in section. It is 0.32 m wide and 0.20 m deep, with a height of 1.35m. (5)
