Summary : Parish church. Mid-late 12th and late 13th-15th century, restored 1860. Limestone ashlar, coursed ironstone rubble, some render. Lead and plain tile roofs with stone coped gables with cross finials. West porch, nave with north and south aisles, crossing tower and chancel.
More information : [TF 0982 2400] St.John the Baptist's Ch. [TU] (1) Early English to Perpendicular, restored in 1860 and 1951. (2-4) In normal use. (5) A Church of St John the Baptist Early 14C chancel. Late 14C nave and central tower at transept crossing, with groin vaulting under tower. Upper part of tower 15C W. porch. 14C door with wicket inset. All ashlar, lead roofed. (6)
