More information : [TF 02342667] St. Andrew's Church [TU] (1) St. Andrew's Church, Irnham, is late Norman to Perpendicular, restored in 1858. (2-3) In normal use. A Church of St Andrew. (4) Late 14C square tower, with Norman W. doorway, the lower stage being 12C. 13C S.door. The S.wall has the blocked arcades of a former aisle. 15C N. arcade. 13C N.door, porch & N. aisle,. 15C clercstorey. 15C N. chapel to 13C chancel. 13C round font. 14C arcaded altar tomb in N. chapel, to the Luttrell family. 14C brass to Sir Andrew Luttrell. d.1390, 5th Baron Irnham. Small brass to Sir Geoffrey Hilton 1430. Arms G.R.I. dated 1726. (5)
