Summary : Motte and traces of bailey. The motte and bailey covers an area of about half an acre. The motte is 18 feet by 24 feet in diameter at the summit and is 8 feet high, and retains traces of its ditch. The bailey is indicated by a slight scarp, except on the west, where there was a slight bank. Scheduled.

A motte and bailey covering about half an acre. The motte 18ft by 24ft in diameter at the summit, is 8ft high, and retains traces of
its ditch. The bailey is now only indicated by a slight scarp, except
on the W, where there is a slight bank. (2)

The motte is as described by RCHM. A scarp, 0.8m high, survives to the W of the motte, but this is no longer recognisable as a bailey.
