KIBWORTH HARCOURT MILL

Wooden post-mill with brick roundhouse, dated 1711 surviving as a roofed building. Windmill. Restored 20th century. Postmill with red brick round-house and timber-framed body covered with weather boarding. Round-house has 4 small brick buttresses, 2 doors and 2 boarded 1-light windows. The body has 2-leaved part stable type door up long flight of open wooden steps. Restored wooden sails and tail pole. The body inside has close studding and chamfered timbers, wooden machinery, and 2 sets of millstones.
