More information : (SP 6670 0474) Tower (NR) (1) The remains of a brick octagonal tower and of stone walling, situated north east of the present house at Rycote. It was formerly the south west corner of a large house built by Lord Williams of Thame who died in 1559. Destroyed by fire (3) in 1745, and finally pulled down in 1800. (2-3) Oustanding. (4)
