Possibly the axe recorded under accession number 1915.47.1 in the Pitt Rivers Museum. The museum records the axe as found by Mr Henry Jervis Mulliner at 'Sandlands', about 2ft below the ground surface during levelling his lawn in October 1912. Thin section alnalysis was undertaken by Bill Cummins from the University of Nottingham. (3)
