COLD NORTON PRIORY

The Augustinian priory of the church of St. John the Evangelist, and the associated Hospital of St Giles were founded between 1148 and 1158. In 1507 there were no canons left, so the buildings were granted to St. Stephen's Westminster in 1507. There are no remains of the Priory at the farm.
