Summary : The supposed site of a deserted Medieval settlement. No visible remains were identified from aerial photographs or on the ground at this approximate location.
More information : (SP 250550). Deserted village of Hunscote. "In Rous. 'Long since depopulated' (Dugdale). The Lucys acquired the manor in 1492. (1)

The indicated area is meadow and arable. There are no surface
indications of a village. Available air cover (RAF) shows a little rig and furrow only. (2)

(SP 255562). An area known as Old Town, outside Charlecote Park on a map of 1736, may be the site of Hunscote or a continuation of Charlecote deserted village. (SP 25 NE 6). (3)
