MONUMENT NO. 329866

DESCRIPTION + /

The site of a Roman villa indicated by a dense scatter of building stone and surface finds. The finds include hypocaust, roof tiles, tesserae, opus signinum and pottery ranging from the 1st to the 4th centuries. A rectangular earthwork had been visible at the site in 1968 but this has now been ploughed.
