Summary : A parish church, built in the 13th or 14th century, with later alterations and additions and a restoration by Sir G. G. Scott in 1860. The church consists a nave, north aisle, central tower, north and south aisle 'stubs' and chancel. It is constructed of ironstone and limestone rubble with ashlar dressing and slate roofs. The church is unusual in that it has two naves, a feature which is relatively rare. |
