Dedicated to St. Nicholas; no remains (2)

Resistivity survey and two seasons excavations have proved the nunnery to be centred at SK 8364 7823; large ranges of buildings and the cemetery have been discovered. Extended excavations are scheduled to take place in the autumn of this year after which it is hoped to publish an interim report. (3)
