St. James' Church, Woolsthorpe, was burnt down by the Roundheads in 1643, during the siege of Belvoir Castle. Some fragments of the tower remain. (2,3)

A large, irregular and overgrown mass of masonry not identifiable as a tower, marks the site of this church.

The adjacent graveyard is now disused. (4)
