Summary : Beaker burial
More information : [SK 8512 3292] A beaker (Abercromby A2), found with a
skeleton during ironstone working at Denton in 1898, is in the
British Museum. A fragment of a second beaker from the same
site is in Grantham Museum. (1,2)

The beaker fragment said to be in Grantham Museum could not be
traced.

The British Museum was not contacted. (3)
