Summary : Augustinian priory cell founded circa 1153 by Hugh de Ferrers as a dependent cell of Kenilworth Priory, and was dissolved 1535-6. There are no extant remains.

Brooke Priory was a small Augustinian house, a cell of Kenilworth, and was founded shortly before 1153. At the Dissolution the site came into the possession of the Noel family, who built Brooke House which has now disappeared although some masonry of the priory was incorporated in the present farmhouse. (see SK 80 NW 23 and 24) (2)

The Augustinian Priory Cell of St Mary the Virgin at Brooke was founded by Hugh de Ferrers before 1153 and much of the income went to Kenilworth. Dissolved 1535-36.(3)
