Summary : A 9th-10th century large wheel-headed cross, probably in situ.

A large wheel-headed cross 99" in height 38" across the head 4" thick stands in a long plain socket. One face carved showing an equal limbed Celtic Cross. No 73. Pre-Scandinavian. (2)

The cross is 65" in height, 37" across and is otherwise as described in authy 2. It leans to the SW and bears an inset bronze plaque numbered 73. A notice in the adjoining church states that it is probably in situ. (3)

The cross is 9th-10th century. (4)
