ROBIN HOOD BUTTS

DESCRIPTION + /

Bronze Age round barrow 27m in diameter and 3m high. There is a 1.5m depression in the top resulting from an excavation in 1864 which found urned cremations and worked flints. The barrow was also mapped as part of the North York Moors National Park NMP project, extant on the latest 2009 vertical photography. Scheduled.
