ST LEONARDS HOSPITAL

DESCRIPTION + /

Site of a leper hospital. Originally founded at Hutton, it moved to Lowcross between 1218-34. It became a dependency of Guisborough Priory in 1275, and although last documented in 1339, there is no reason to believe that it did not survive until the Dissolution.
