Summary : Site of a medieval moated manor house known as Bellasis Hall, now only visible on aerial photographs. Possibly a strong house.
More information : (NZ 4793 2304) Belasis Hall (NR) Moat (NR) (1) Belasis Hall, a pre-1649 moated manor house. The moat is of irregular form and well defined on the south and east sides. (2-3) Belasis Hall has been demolished and no trace of the building or any associated earthworks were seen. (4) Part of south and east arms of the moat are faintly visible on air photographs. (5) This may be the site of the Bellasis described by Cathcart King as a strong house. (6)
