Quite prominently situated at NZ 3816 3756 on the summit of a small wooded knoll is a turf-covered earthen mound about 14.0m diameter and 1.2m maximum height. Its N edge has been clipped by a hedge and there is a slight (excavation?) hollow in the SSE. Probably a barrow. Surveyed at 1:2500. (2)
The mound, centred NZ 3816 3756, was surveyed at 1:200 by RCHME in 1984. The probable round barrow, measuring 15m E-W by 14m transversely and 1.5m high, is prominently situated on the summit of a wooded knoll, c.153 OD. Though surrounded by deciduous trees, none are actually growing on the mound. Full information is included in the NMR Archive. (3)
