Summary : Site of Foxton deserted medieval village, inferred from the presence of vague earthworks.
More information : NZ 363248. Deserted medieval village of Foxton. (1) Air photographs. (2) The original road through the village is visible as a fragmentary way parallel to the existing Foxton Lane. In addition, there are two or three short earthen baulks running north from the hollow way which appear to be foreshortened recent field boundaries, probably based on former croft limits. There are no other intelligible remains. (3)
