Summary : Country house originally built between 1730-52 incorporating a 17th century house. Alterations were carried out by James Wyatt in 1778-91, and by Bonozi in 1826 and 1830. The building was damaged by fire in 1944, restored and reduced in size by Robert Lutyens in 1949.

Blagdon Hall, Grade II*. Originally built 1735-40 on 17th century foundations. Altered by James Wyatt in 1778-91. Additions by Bonozi in 1826 and 1830. Damaged by fire in 1944.
