MONUMENT NO. 251990

Excavation of this Roman villa uncovered a timber built phase dating from late 1st to the early 2nd century AD and a stone built villa dating from c.AD 150-60 which was abandoned in the late 3rd century AD; it appears to have been of the corridor type. In the 4th century AD what are described as cruck buildings were erected on the site.
