More information : [SU 90287444] Remains of moat which surrounded the old manor house of Foliejohn at the foot of the hill on which the present house [Foliejohn Park SU 90057445] stands. (1)
The moat is in very poor condition, the southern side has been completely infilled. Drainage ditches run along the bottom of the other three sides to flow through a break in the N.W. corner of the moat. The moat is overgrown and averages 0.7 in. deep from the general ground level with a retaining bank on the north side. There are no traces of any structure within the enclosed area.
