Summary : 18th century origin of church which is now redundant.
More information : [SU 60938946] St. Peter's Church [T.U.] (1) "The church of St. Peter, near the bridge [at Wallingford] was re-built in 1760. (2) "St. Peter's Church [Wallingford] seems to stand on an artificial mound close to and commanding the old ford." (3) St. Peter's Church is situated on the bank of the Saxon Burh, the VCH being apparently unaware of its existence at this point. (4) In normal use. (5) (SU 60938946). Redundant Church; C18th origin, C20th windows. (6-7)
