Summary : Cropmarks of a small complex of rectangular enclosures, possibly associated with the nearby Roman villa, a field system.
More information : [Area: SU 4215 9732] A small complex of rectangular cropmarks, (possibly parts of a field system but possibly associated with the nearby Roman villa site (SU 49 NW 3)) shows on the A.Ps. but nothing significant is visible on the ground. (1)

The features described by the above authority have been mapped from aerial photographs taken in 1974 and 2005 for the Fyfield/Frilford aerial survey (event UID 1515586). The field system now appears to extend east, north and south as a part of an extensive area of settlement and field systems which is recorded in UID 234064. (2-3)
