REBELLION HOUSE

ALTERNATIVE NAME:  CROMWELL HOUSE

Built as a bastle in the 16th century and altered and extended in the early/mid 17th century. Two storeyed with thick stone walls and a Welsh slate roof. Restored in 1968. Cromwell is reputed to have stayed here.
