MONUMENT NO. 228030

Excavation uncovered a Roman villa consisting of a possible aisled farmhouse with two ranges of outbuildings around a yard. The aisled farmhouse may be a subsidiary building to a small unexcavated domestic range. Occupation dated from the later 3rd to the early 4th century. Possible Roman milestone was found which is now in Winchester Museum. Scheduled.
