Summary : The proposed site of Roman turret 11A, part of the defences on Hadrian's Wall. The position is derived by measurement from known sites, there are no visible remains.
More information : NZ 145 668. Site of Turret 11A. (1) NZ 1451 6687. This should be about 45 yards west of the entrance to Heddon Hall. It could not be found in 1928 and is probably completely covered by the road. (2) There are no surface indications adjacent to the road. No further information. (3) There is no surface trace of the turret; grid reference NZ 1451 6687 indicates the measured position only. (4) Scheduled (5) Located on the English Heritage map of Hadrian's Wall 2010. (6)
