Summary : Bowl barrow on Dean Hill listed as Whiteparish 3 by Grinsell. It has a mound 25 paces x 4ft formed of chalk taken from a nearby pit. It was excavated by Master in 1870 without result. Master considered it to be possibly a beacon site but its situation makes this rather doubtful

On Dean Hill - Whiteparish 3, a mound 25 paces x 4ft formed of
chalk taken from a nearby pit. Listed by Grinsell (2) as a bowl
barrow. It was excavated by Master (3) in 1870 without result.
Master considered it to be possibly a beacon site but its
situation makes this rather doubtful (a). (2-4)
