Coins of Claudius II (2) and Gratian (2) - both in Cricklade Mus (1). An embossed disc (phaleron) found 1870, High St area. Made of bronze, ornamented with raised pips. Diameter of disc 4", diam of boss 2 1/8", depth of boss 7/8". Three rivet holes, one with rivet in place to which adheres fragment of leather. Centre of boss destroyed.
