Summary : Site of a Medieval grange to Stanley Abbey. The present building is an 18th/19th century farmhouse. After the Dissolution, the grange passed to Sir Edward Seymour.
More information : (SU 10158200) Studley Grange, which belonged to Stanley Abbey, paid an annual sum towards the upkeep of William Ingram's chantry in Highworth church. (1)

Externally Studley Grange farmhouse at SU 10158200 seems 18th/19th c. A piece of traceried window is built into a wall of the farmyard and a further rendered wall is said by the farmer to have been repaired with many pieces of mullions. There is little of importance in the surrounding fields. (2)

Grange of Stanley Abbey which passed to Sir Edward Seymour after the Dissolution. (3)
