The site of the Battle of Woden’s Barrow, which is also known as the Battle of Wodnesbeorh and the Battle of Adam’s Grave, is located in Alton in Wiltshire. The battle was fought in 592 AD between the West Saxon Ceawlin and a British force. Ceawlin was defeated.
