Hale House is 18th century, with 7 bays and 2 storeys. DOE is
of opinion that the house is basically the one designed by
Thomas Archer soon after 1715, with later alterations (2). Pevsner
considers that much of the visible house is Holland's
remodelling of about 1792 but retaining features from the
earlier house. Grade 2*. (3)

Hale Park (name confirmed by owner and by notice-board) is a
well-preserved 18th Century country house. No further information regarding its date. (4)
