Summary : Bridge over the River Wansbeck, constructed in 1755 by James Paine, of tooled ashlar. It comprises a central segmental arch flanked by smaller semicircular arches. There are triangular cutwaters and square piers with pyramidal caps which flank the arches and terminate the outswept approach walls

II* Bridge over R. Wansbeck to south east of Hall

1760 by James Paine. One large arch flanked by a smaller arch at
each side, balustraded parapet on dentilled cornice, cutwaters.
Ancient Monument. (2)

Bridge over River Wansbeck. Grade I. Bridge, 1755 by James Paine.
Tooled ashlar. Central segmental arch flanked by smaller semicircular
arches, all with rusticated voussoirs. Triangular cutwaters. Square
piers with pyramidal caps flanking arches and terminating outswept
approach walls; piers flanking central arch have large domed niches.
Parapet set slightly forward on block corbels, balustraded above
arches, flat-coped on approach walls. (3)
