More information : ST 94804375 - A roughly rectangular earthwork with inner ditch located from AP (1) is identified by Grinsell with an earthwork shown on a map and described by Hoare (2) as of irregular plan and mutilated by ploughing. (See ST 94 SW 41 for a barrow within it) On APs (3) an apparent earthwork is visible as crop/soil markings apparently at the former junction of two fields of rig and furrow. (1-3) This earthwork cannot be identified on the ground. (4)
