Summary : A perforated stone hammer (?axe hammer or battle axe) has been found in the vicinity of Hambledon Hill (ST 81 SW 10, 17). A Middle Bronze Age looped and socketed spearhead was found on the surface at Hambledon Hill. The latter find is in Dorset County Museum (accession number 1945-13-1). The former was last reported to be in the collection of DCD Ryder. |
More information : ST 8412. A perforated hammer found in the locality of Hambledon Hill. Now in the collection of DCD Ryder. (1).
