MONUMENT NO. 205263

DESCRIPTION + /

The site of a Roman villa excavated in 1847 when tesselated pavements, a hypocaust and a possible atrium were found. Two rows of the bases of stone columns were also encountered. There are no visible surface remains of the villa and it is thought that stone may have been re-used in nearby buildings.
