More information : (NZ 07453789) Holy Well (NR) (1) "A small spring over which there is a little house. It's water was formerly used for religious purposes in the chapel which once stood near it." (2) NZ 07673788. Consists of a small trough situated within a modern stone compartment and fed by a spring (at present dry) immediately north of the compartment. (3) Only the well-house now survives the issuing trough being removed and the spring dry. (4) Holy Well. Probably 18th century. Grade 2 (5)
