Summary : A long mound which probably represents the remains of two adjacent round barrows rather than a long barrow.
More information : [ST 5452 5255] T295, a long barrow. (1) "The mound does not have the appearance of a barrow, the highest and widest part being the west end". Grinsell also does not consider it to be a long barrow, but thinks it may be two confluent round barrows. Surveyed. (2) [ST 54525255] Mound [GT]. (3) This is a long mound 1.4m high at the W. and 1.0m high at the E. It is not possible from ground inspection to determine whether this feature is two bowl barrows. Listed by Grinsell as Chewton Mendip 3a and 3b Published survey (1/2500) correct. (4) Additional reference-as 4b. (5)
